Fireplace surround done in Venetian Plaster. Plasters of Italy is certified in applying Venetian Plaster. We do lots of interior painting for our customers. However, I am a certified Venetian Plaster applicator. This fireplace surround in Grapevine, TX was done in a modern grey color.

This Venetian plaster fireplace surround had its some challenges with the prep. However, my customer was helpful in getting the power outlets moved. In the meantime, I did a sample board, using the color Dorian Grey by Sherwin Williams. I can tint my plaster to any color.
The Venetian Plaster application only took a few days. However, I did spend a few days prepping the wall. Which needs to be smoothed out with drywall compound, followed by a primer.
After completing the plaster I touched up the painted walls adjoining to the fireplace and touched up the trim paint.
